How can we help?
Set up your WLC, fix a problem or talk to our team.
Set up in the app
Get the app and sign in
Install the SMARTAURA app and sign in with your mobile number and the code we text you.
Add the controller
Tap + Add device, scan the code on the controller and keep your phone close. Choose your home Wi-Fi when asked.
Pair the tank sensor
Follow the steps in the app. The controller finds the sensor and pairs it for you.
Set your tank and schedule
Enter your tank size in litres, then add schedules and quiet hours if you want them.
Something not right?
Find the alert or problem you're seeing.
Pump stopped: dry run
No water reached the pump, so the controller switched it off to protect it.
What to do: check the sump has water and any valve is open. Then tap Fixed it, try again in the app for a short test run.
Tank sensor not reporting
The controller hasn't heard from the sensor. To avoid overflowing, it pauses Auto and schedules, and Run is disabled until the sensor is back.
What to do: make sure the sensor's panel is in sunlight and nothing large blocks the path to the controller. The app shows the last reading and when it arrived.
Low sensor battery
The battery charges from the solar panel. A dusty panel or heavy shade slows charging.
What to do: wipe the panel clean and check it faces open sky for part of the day.
Wi-Fi disconnected
If it still has power, the controller keeps running Auto, schedules, quiet hours and leak protection on its own.
What to do: near the controller, use Control over Bluetooth in the app. If your Wi-Fi name or password changed, update it from the controller's settings.
Pump stopped: ran too long today
The pump ran longer than your daily limit, which can mean a leak or an overflow.
What to do: check pipes and the tank for leaks. Then clear the alert in the app, or hold the controller's button for 5 seconds.
Pump didn't start at night
Quiet hours block automatic starts, so the tank waits until they end.
What to do: run the pump yourself from the app, or change your quiet hours.
Common questions
Do I ever need to charge the tank sensor?
No. It charges itself from the sun, and a full battery keeps it running for up to 150 days with no sun.
Why does the level move in steps?
The sensor's electrodes sit at fixed heights, so it reports 0, 25, 50, 75 or 100%. That's reliable and enough to run the pump well.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The controller keeps working on its own with your settings. You can still control it over Bluetooth when you're nearby.
Can my family use it too?
Yes. Share your home from the app and everyone can check the tank and run the pump.
How long does installation take?
Installation is free and included in the price. Our installer finishes within 45 minutes, or we refund ₹500. This applies when the delay isn't caused by something at your site, like power or Wi-Fi. See the details.
What does the warranty cover?
Manufacturing faults in the controller and tank sensor for 2 years from purchase. Physical damage and water damage aren't covered. See the full warranty.
How do updates work?
The controller downloads updates over the air. You'll see an alert in the app when one is ready.
What if we run out of water?
Use Request water tanker in the app and our team will call you back.
We'll call you back.
The quickest way is from the app: open the menu, tap Help and support, then Contact support. Your request comes with your device details, so we can help faster.
