Our Smart Home Automation Journey
The Problem
During my time in an apartment, I encountered significant challenges related to conflicts among residents over water pump usage. Additionally, there were instances when water access was disrupted due to tank overflow or leakage.
The Solution
In response, I developed a prototype utilizing ESP32, ultrasonic sensors, and relay switches to automate the control and monitoring of water levels.
The Inspiration
I observed that existing water control solutions were lacking in aesthetic appeal, customizability, and internet connectivity. This highlighted a market gap for a smart, customizable, and internet-enabled solution that balances functionality with design.
Market Insight
I also recognized a widespread lack of education regarding IoT products and smart devices, which has impeded their mass adoption despite the rapid advancements in technology.
